A Tibetan Reiki practitioner can help fight it.

Typical conditions of developed countries such as Canada and USA!

Obesity causes abnormality on all aspects in the body. Starting with the motor system by overloading the joints and deforms the bones. It overloads the digestive system, causing ill conditions as a long-term effect. Insufficient amounts of exercise coupled with being overweight effects the liver-pancreas function and can cause diabetes and affects the immune system of which 60-70% is located in the intestine system. Poor functioning of the digestive system results in fatigue syndrome. The precursor of which is Bowel Irritability causing the onset of skin and hair-loss problems. Obesity is one of the main causes of heart and blood circulatory system conditions. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, Arteriosclerosis (thickening and hardening of arteries), heart conditions etc… Note that in many cases, overeating is a kind of compensation… we feel the need for something, internal void that could be for such a simple thing as water or sugar or more complex such as the absence of and need of love. We long for something and are filling this need with food. Eating is an easily accessible source of happiness that can turn into addiction very quickly. This also indicates a psychic (mental) disturbance! After this come the self-judgment problems that starts this devil’s circle. We are dissatisfied with our appearance or from the negative criticisms and we start to eat more to feel better.

Since “healthy body, healthy mind”, at this point both are deformed, so there is a need for change and help!

There is nothing wrong with eating being a source of joy. People full of life and happiness and in good health like to eat. But it is very important what, how much and when. As long as we eat consciously and in moderation, with the amount of calorie intake in proportion to our work and other exercise regiments, there is no problem, the balance is achieved! But, if we do not do physical labour and do not do any sports, exercises, and eat a lot, we have a problem. Especially when we eat the most at night after work (after 6 pm) and are snacking during the day, eating processed and fast foods, eating sweets and sugary drinking, we will certainly create an imbalance and become overweight.

As a naturopath and Tibetan Reiki Master I believe that everyone was created by the almighty with a beautiful healthy body. It is not only our task but also our duty to respect, protect and keep our bodies whole and healthy! Our body is the temple for our soul and spirit. The spirit has a body, not the other way around. This is why healing an illness should always start by healing the spirit.

Now days it has become fashionable to have to accept being different, such as we shall accept when someone is overweight and is not a very nice spectacle. But then, we have to look at the inner value! I do not dispute this. It’s just that in my view being obese or overweight is not being “different”, but being in an ill state that deforms both the body and the soul when extreme or in this state for long. Should be treated at all 3 levels; mind, body and soul.

The Tibetan Reiki healing with its special energy and symbols can offer especially effective help. The treatment happens on several levels. First we have to work on the healing of the spirit. Have to find the root of the problem. What is this spiritual block that creates the feeling of missing something that triggers compensation by overeating? This could be sorrow, fear, uncertainty, anxiety, loneliness, unhappiness, misery or could just be emptiness and boredom.

During a Tibetan Reiki treatment, the energies start to “work” on the mind (consciousness), slowly but surely relieving its tension, the negative blocks. We are forming the mind that will show the problems from different perspectives. Scientifically speaking, I would say that the mind is starting to build new neural pathways (neuroplasticity) in the brain. The result of this (neuroplasticity) is that it will show the negative experiences in a different light. The patient feels that their problems are not burying them underneath; it does not weigh on them, and is able to work out the difficulties and can move on! When harmony is created in the soul, we can heal the body.

Parallel to the aforementioned, the Tibetan Reiki Practitioner is able to influence the mind too, through the energies (with symbols) given against addiction. This energy healing happens the following way. The exaggerated eating impulses are connected with some type of negative thought analogy. For example, if one feels irresistible urges to eat French fries, it gets visualized in the subconscious as an overtly oily-fatty disgusting image that is neither desirable nor appetizing anymore. I like to emphasize that this happens in the subconscious and this is but a very simplified way of explaining the process. This Reiki healing technique by itself by the Tibetan Reiki master is not enough; the patient has to want to give up their addiction and needs resolve to go through this process. Without this “self-programming of the brain” by the patient themselves, there is not enough power in the universe for success!

There is one more thing that the Tibetan Reiki practitioner can help those who want to lose weight. With the proper symbol, they can achieve a speed up of losing fat from the critical areas of the body (stomach, thighs and buttocks). I like to stress that the Tibetan Reiki energy healing is in itself not enough to lose weight. Diet (self-conscious eating), exercise, audacity and perseverance are all needed for a prompt and long-term result. The active participation of the patient is critical!

The other important rule is moderation, just like in everything else; one must be moderate in losing weight. It is not good to lose too much too quickly, because it is not healthy and the quickly lost fat will come back quick too. It should not be more than 5lb per month! Moderate and conscious eating and exercise should become a lifestyle.

I must also state here that it is very important to ingest enough fluids as well. It should be daily 1.5-2 liters and on hot summer days, when the fluid loss is higher the intake should be at least 2 liters. By fluids it should be understood that it is water not just in its pure form that you drink, but also the water as a part in all liquids such as soups, coffee, tea, beverages, milk and other foods. If possible this water should be fresh good quality water, not sugary pop or seemingly healthy juices that are full of sugar, colouring and preservatives and who knows what else.

Part of the truth is that in today’s world, it is very hard to eat purposefully healthy. The majority of foods bought in supermarkets are unfortunately harmful for the human body. Countless genetically modified foods (GMs that are produced from GMOs), preservatives, modifiers, colouring, etc… are harming our health and cause all kinds of illnesses and conditions as a long-term effect.

A very interesting observation; I have heard of a study that was examining the apparent fact that people were much healthier after the second world war (in Europe) than now. One would think that living under all that stress and emotional strain with a constant threat to everyone’s life has an effect on health. People were starving many times, went by with little portions and ate very little meat. Contrary to this they were quiet healthy for these reasons. People eat too much in their secure well-being.

As a naturopath, Tibetan-Reiki master, I can assert that with diet, most illnesses can be cured! I have experienced that other than digestive system illnesses, even skin problems and allergies are treatable with diet.

Here is a recent article about Obesity that reinforces my statements in my article: http://bbc.in/14whyV6
